How to Get on Volume 2

There is no public vote for Volume 2. No scoreboard, no campaign, no asking your friends to click a button every day for a fortnight. There is a form, and it comes straight to us.

What we ask for

• Who you are. Your artist name, and your real name if you want us to have it.
• Where you're from. City and country. The cypher is built on where people come from.
• Your style. However you would describe your sound in a few words.
• Your languages. Every language you perform in. Spanish and English sit side by side on Volume 1 and neither one is a guest.
• How to reach you. Your email and your Instagram, so there is always a second way to find you.

A verse helps — paste a link or upload a file — but it is not required to apply.

What happens next

It lands in our inbox the moment you hit submit. We read every one ourselves and we answer on the email or the Instagram you left. That is the whole process.

Why it works this way

A public vote rewards whoever already has the biggest following, which is exactly the gate the Atlantic Cypher exists to take down. An artist nobody has heard yet and an artist from Volume 1 reach us the same way: one message, read by the same people.
