2What we ask for

Who you are

Artist name, and your real name if you want us to have it.

Where you're from

City and country. The cypher is built on where people come from.

Your style

However you'd describe your sound in a few words.

Your languages

Every language you perform in. Spanish and English sit side by side on Volume 1.

How to reach you

Your email and your Instagram, so we always have a second way to find you.

Anything you're proud of

A verse, a link, a few lines about yourself. Optional, but it helps.

3Questions
Who can apply?

Anyone who rhymes or sings and wants to be on the cypher. Volume 1 artists are welcome to apply again — say so in the form and we will link it to your profile.

Do I need a following?

No. The whole point of the Atlantic Cypher is that talent gets heard whether or not it already has an audience.

What do you need from me?

Your name, where you are from, your style, the languages you perform in, a few lines about yourself, and a way to reach you — your email and your Instagram.

Do I have to send a video?

It helps, and you can paste a link or upload a file, but it is not required. Send one if you have something you are proud of.

What happens after I submit?

Your application goes straight to theatlanticcypher@gmail.com. We read it ourselves and reply to the email or Instagram you left.

Is there public voting?

No. There is no voting and no public scoreboard — we pick the line-up ourselves from the applications.
